Hi Alan
Widewater is where I normally go windsurfing and in the past the kitesurfers have launched a couple of beaches upwind of the windsurfers that go off directrly in front of the cafe. I was there this week (well I got swept downwind on my kite and Dinah had to come and rescue me) and the signs say swimming only there now. There is another beach with llots of kitesurfers further east of widewater and the BKSA recognise both the lancing and shoreham sites as windsurfing venues so at present we are sandwiched between 2 kitesurfing sites. Combining these in to one would probably make sence but that would require Lancing BC talking to their counterparts at shoreham.
I realise Im only offering problems not solutions but we should find out why Lancing changed the previous arrangements. |

Presumably using Beach Green, Shoreham, as their rigging area? _________________ Mike
